DAVE HANCOCK SKIPPER OF EXCEL 2 OUT OF RAMSGATE FINDS SOME EXCELENT POLLOCK
Sunday 15th January.
The forecast was not ideal neither were the tides but Heyho we`ll give it a go !
As we ventured out into the Northern Channel it soon became apparent
that I`d made the right call, always a first time ! The sea flattened
off nicely and the sun came out to warm us up.
The anglers soon got the hang of dangling their rubbers,
First pollock of the day fell to Mr Sparky13,

A good start but we know he has more potential . . .
A few mid sized fish, 4 to 8lb came on Secret Sidewinder-Like lures,
then one of the new converts to wreck fishing almost got pulled over the
side as a hungry pollock crash dived to get back to the wreck . . .

Mr Seatrout in Soft focus with a new PB pollock of 11 1/2lb.
Mr Sparky13 soon showed that he`s not just a pie eating machine by
holding up what proved to be the best fish of the day, a cracking
pollock of 13 1/2lb.
Great to see a nice selection of mid sized fish and a few proper specimen sized ones.
one of the boxes for the huggers,
keep it tight,
13 1/2 LB POLLOCK
